My home of Santa Cruz California is a progressive and forward thinking community that has kept the environment a primary concern through local government and business by encouraging its residents to make “green” choices. As a lifelong resident of Santa Cruz I share the concerns of my community and over the past several years have adopted “green” alternatives in terms of personal living which have broadened my awareness of the impact we each make on our environment through the choices we make everyday. One of the ways I hope to share my enthusiasm for “green” living is through real estate. My commitment to provide quality and knowledgeable service to my clients is through ongoing education which led me to my EcoBroker® and GREEN® designations; together with 30-years of real estate experience I feel confident in guiding my clients toward environmentally friendly and personally satisfying choices. Please enjoy the links provided and feel free to contact me with any “green” real estate questions you many have.
Best Regards,
B.B. Wong
Green Tip of the Week: Whole Foods accepts #5 plastics If your city doesn’t have curbside recycling, then recycling #5 plastics (cottage cheese, prescription drug, and yogurt containers) can be cumbersome. One option is to drop your #5 plastic containers off at designated Whole Foods locations. These containers can be remade into items such as razors, toothbrushes, cutlery, and mixing bowls -- all of which are fully recyclable.
